Windows 95-98-ME Dial-Up Installation

If you would like to setup your computer yourself, use the following setup instructions.

A) Setup Dial-Up Networking
B) Time to connect

Right click on the Internet Explorer Icon on your desktop.
Select Properties from the pull down menu
Left Click on the connections tab in the window that appears.
Click on the setup button in the upper right hand corner of the connections window.

This will open up the Internet Connection Wizard:

Select the 3rd choice "I want to set up my Internet connection manually, or I want to connect through a local area network (LAN). and click next.

Select "I connect through a phone line and modem" and click next.

Enter the phone number 463-3791 and deselect "Dial using the area code and country code" and click next.

Enter your username and password and click next.

Name your connection (EsisNet would be a perfect name).

Now you will be asked to set up your email account select yes to do so at this time and click next.

Select "Create a new Internet mail account" and click next.

Enter your Display Name (This is the name that appears in the from: field in an email) and click next.

Enter your full email address and click next. your full email address is your choesen username@esisnet.com.

Ensure that in the space provided "My incoming mail server is" reamains POP3 and then Enter your Incoming and Outgoing email servers with "mail.esisnet.com" and click next.

Enter your username and password in the fields provided and click next. (Your username and password are identical to your dial-up username and password)
