Collocation
services are provided as a method of placing a computer or server
on a high speed Internet connection without having to pay the telephone
company charges of T-1 and other high speed connections. These servers
are commonly mission critical servers that require 24x7 high speed
dedicated connectivity. The computer is physically placed in theEsisNet
Network Operations Center collocation facility located in Havelock,
NC. From here, a connection is established to the core network,
giving the server complete access to the redundant and high speed
Internet connectivity that EsisNet utilizes. |

Pricing
Pricing for collocation
is based on two elements. The first is the amount of physical rack space
required within the collocation facility. This is measured in what are
referred to as "U's". Each U is equal to 1.75 inches. The space is utilized
in 2U increments. The second is based on the amount of bandwidth required
for your connection. |

Racking is sold in 2U rack increments. The base price
for the physical space is calculated using the following model:

is based on the average burst rate of the connection, calculated every

Features and Highlights
In addition to the above
features, all EsisNet collocation customers receive the following:
- A dialup or DSL account
for management of the collocated server
- 5 hours per week
of physical access to your server between 8AM - 6PM Monday through Friday
- Access to your server
outside of these hours are billed at $50 per hour
- 24x7 emergency monitoring
and notification to your pager or e-mail should a failure occur
- Secondary DNS hosting for up to 20 domains
- 25 POP3 E-Mail Accounts
Additionally, the following services are available:
- On-Site service and
support contracts to maintain your mission critical server.
- Server consulting
to build a server for your personalized needs.

Questions
To receive support for
your collocation facility, please contact the Support Center at (252)
672-5634 or at support@esisnet.com. For after
hours (10PM - 7AM M-F and weekends) emergencies (complete server failures
or connectivity loss only please) call the same number and state to the
operator that you have a server emergency. An EsisNet Represenative will
be paged and you will be called. Please note that after hour physical
access rates will apply.
