Burned to death in a fire with her husband perStella. She and her husband were in N.J. when she was heating an oldhair curling iron using the lit gas jet. She went to test the iron forheat with a piece of paper when it burned her and caused her to dropthe iron and paper into a bucket of cleaning solution on the floor.The bucket caught fire, and started the draperies (the old gas jetswere almost always near windows). Her husband went in to put out thefire and both died. This was in the hotel or boarding house theyowned.
First name finally comes to light in baptism of herniece Mary Zoladkiewicz.
